Instructions & Tips for Submitting Your Images

Thank you for your interest in ART CART: SAVING THE LEGACY. As a part of the selection process you must submit four (4) high quality images of your work that will be included in a blind jurying selection process. Please follow the tips below for submitting your images. Thank you.

  • Images

    Upload up to four images. Please follow these instructions carefully:

    Images must be saved as .jpg or .jpeg files. Files should not be bigger than 2 MB.

    Please remove any watermarks or artists information from the image.

    Please follow the naming conventions below when uploading files. Include in the filename the area you are in (DC or NYC), title, and number each file sequentially:

    LASTNAME_AREA_TITLE_NUMBER.JPG

    For example:
    JONES_DC_FLOWERS_1.JPG
    JONES_DC_FOCUS_2.JPG

  • Please provide a title and use the "description" field below to include the year, medium, and dimensions of your artwork.
    Accepted file types: jpg, jpeg, png, gif.
  • Accepted file types: jpg, jpeg, png, gif.

  • Accepted file types: jpg, jpeg, png, gif.

  • Video

    To submit video files with your application, please upload up to 3 files. Unfortunately the maximum files size is 30MB. Please take care NOT to include your name in the video itself. You may also provide links to video online -- at YouTube, Vimeo, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.
  • Upload up to 3 files in .mpg, .mov, or .m4v format. If your files are too large, upload them to DropBox or another secure sharing site, and paste a link in the space provided below.

    • Please click "submit" just once, and be patient -- it may take up to a minute to upload your images. You will be redirected to a confirmation page. If you see only a blank screen or an error message, please notify us.
