Hello! My name is Jackie Barbarito and I am a graduate student at the George Washington University. I was raised in New Jersey in a big Italian family. I moved to D.C. to pursue my undergraduate studies at American University. Ever since I can remember, I have always wanted to work with the elderly population. My grandparents played a big role in my life growing up and in return I want to focus my career on helping seniors. Currently, I am pursuing a master’s degree in health care administration with a focus in long-term care. My goal is to be an administrator at a continuing care retirement community and interact with residents in all stages of care.
